Oh how times have changed...

Mom's pals all met at 'pinecone park' for the afternoon. We had a special visit from the Doerle family.
Cousins came too...

GG Lorle came down to visit Jake this month.

Jake always loves to see GG Lorle. He also got to see Cousin Jeff and Cousin Max.

Grandma Karen & Dad on a Trolley Bus ride.

Pop Pop also came to visit and

played 'Firemen' with Jake all weekend.

Jake got a special visit today from his favorite truck....

The GARBAGE TRUCK! CHOICE contacted us after we sent a note

to the company thanking them for being

so kind to our son every time we see them.

The driver and his immediate supervisors came

to Jake's house to present Jake with a gift.
Jake got a special collectors garbage truck.
This was a very special day for Jake.

Jake moves into a big boy bed...

Jake has decided that it was time

to change his crib to a big boy bed. He told Mama last night that he was a

BIG BOY and he would be ok all night.
Our little boy is growing up!
(and Mom + Dad get some time back for each other)

Jake plans a fun day w/ his cousins...

Jake had so much fun on the 'Trolley Bus'

that he wanted to take his cousins. He all had a great time riding around downtown.

We headed to Chick-fil-A after the ride.

Mom & Dad took Jake on the Sun Trolley. Jake thought it was the coolest thing ever.
He said he wanted to take the 'Trolley Bus' every where.

Jake turns 2...

Happy Birthday Jake!

It all started with a morning breakfast with Mom...
Next was a special birthday party at school...

'These cupcakes are TASTY Mom!'

We skipped out on school & headed to

Fire Station 2 to visit Uncle Mike.

Later in the day, Uncle RD came over to play.
Jake showed him all of his dad's matchbox cars.

It ended with another birthday celebration.

Jake had the PERFECT day!

He thinks 2 will be A-OK.

Eastons Arrive...

Da-Mah + Pop-Pop arrived on Dec 26th.

Jake's mom+dad were going to go watch the Redskins,

but US Air got hold of us & the trip was cancelled. SO....we made the most of it.

Dec 28th was Mommy's Adoption Day.

We celebrated by taking a ride on the Carrie B.

Pop-Pop treated us to a boat ride along the intracoastal.
Jake loved being out on the water.
It was a bit chilly, so Jake spent some time inside with Da-Mah.

Our little boy isn't so little now is he?

Such a joy...and so MUCH FUN!

Christmas 2009...

Jake woke up on Christmas Day & was so excited. He got lots of cool presents from Santa Ho-Ho.
He slowly got the hang of opening all of the gifts.

He definitely had a few favorites.

I would say the trash truck won HANDS DOWN.

Way to go Santa...

We headed to Mimi+Bips's for brunch with the family.

Santa Ho-Ho came to their house too...

Jake LOVED the little playhouse.

Christmas Eve 2009...

Getting ready for Christmas Eve...How handsome!
We went to the family service at FPC.

Mommy, Uncle Mike and Jake sang pretty songs...

The cousins were all very good in church.

'Happy Birthday Jesus' party.

At the end of the night, we all went outside to watch

for Santa's sleigh in the sky & check out Bip's outside display.

Jake gets his 1st haircut...

Jake got his first haircut at this cool shop. It's called Haircut Hangout in Hollywood.
Deny cut Jake's hair and was so great.

(did you see the plane he was sitting in?) Could he have gotten any cuter?

Or have been a better 'client'?

Jake LOVES a train...

Jake was given a VERY SPECIAL train set last year. My godmother handed down her train set to our family.
Jake loved it last year, but REALLY LOVES it this year.
It is special both to Jake and to me. Thank you Linda.
